If you are hitting the road this weekend to squeeze out that last summer beach excursion or visit family for a holiday barbecue, remember to buckle up, leave your cell phones in the seat beside you, keep your speed at the posted limit and leave a safe following distance.  Also, remember to leave your temper at home. With the heat index still near Indian summer temperatures, and the pressures of travel on busy drivers, we can all get a little heated sometimes.  This can lead to accidents and put you at fault.  Caution, respect for the vehicles around you and safety, foremost in your mind for yourself and those inside your car, should be a priority.

But, if the unexpected, unplanned, and undesired occurs, call 911. Get yourself and your loved ones to a place as far off the road as possible and wait for help.  If you need medical care, do so, even if you are far away from home.  We’re here to help you with the legal issues when you get home.

At Campbell & Associates, we wish you a safe and happy Labor Day!
